Digestion Punch
2 big apples, 1 pear
- Skin two apples and a pear, slice and remove seeds and core.
- Toss into a blender and add enough water to liquefy the fruits.
- Drink to your comfort.
Cleansing Drink
2 stalks celery, 4 leaves of spinach, half cup parsley
- Mix the ingredients in a juicer or blender; add spring water if necessary.
- Drink
Satisfying Slices
Water melon or Pineapple
Eat a few slices to your satisfaction. Do not overeat.
Scouring Salad
Lettuce, tomatoes, celery, cucumbers, carrots
1. Cut up ingredients and toss with vinegar or any fat-free or low fat salad dressing.
Super Soup
3 medium potatoes, 2 onions, 4 carrots, 5 zucchini; ½ cup parsley, 2 quarts water, crushed garlic, cayenne pepper to taste
- Chop vegetables.
- Bring water to boil.
- Add potatoes, onions and carrots. Lower the heat.
- Add parsley, cayenne pepper and garlic.
- Cover and cook until vegetables are soft.
- Add zucchini, and cook for 10 minutes.
Miscellaneous:
1. While detoxifying, you might feel a headache, fatigue, or slight nausea. Do not be surprised. It passes quickly. It is your body’s way of rebalancing its inner workings when your body is burning waste at higher-than-normal rate.
2. Drink a gallon of water everyday.
3. Do not do strenuous activities while detoxifying.
4. You may take multivitamin tablets.
5. After 2 days, do not revert back to your old eating habits right away. Give your system a chance to recover. Therefore eat light meals, preferably non-greasy vegetable recipes.
6. Find time to relax to detoxify your mind.
